What is Fire Cider Exactly?

The original “Fire Cider” was created in the 1980s by herbalist Rosemary Gladstar—a zesty blend of kitchen
herbs like garlic, onion, hot peppers, and more, steeped in apple cider vinegar and sweetened with a touch of
honey. Rosemary taught the recipe at the California School of Herbal Studies and shared it in her first book,
inspiring generations to make this simple, affordable, and delicious wellness tonic at home.

Over the years, fire cider has taken on many forms, with people adding their own twist to the classic.
